About: Lake Herman Recration Area is a 577-acre park located about 4 miles north of Benicia. A great place for walking, hiking, picnicking, or fishing. Water sports not allowed. You can walk to and from Benicia Community park on the paved connected pathway.
+ We frequent Lake Herman a lot—it is a central meet-up location for our members. It is a nice spot for smaller group outings. We like to explore the lake front areas, play hide-and-seek in the small grove area, picnic on the lawn area, and do our outdoor art projects.
