Kids' Nature Hike @ Rockville Regional Park, Fairfield, CA.
Our group enjoyed a beautiful morning at Rockville Regional Park. We sauntered up the hill to the small mason pond area, while some families took a short walk to the larger pond. The kids enjoyed catching tadpoles and viewing the wildlife. This is always a favorite group hike.
+ Kid-friendly: Yes. It's a short half mile + hike to mason pond. Front pack only for kids - this trail is not stroller-friendly.
+ + Parking fee: Per person. Pay kiosk is located in parking lot - accepts credit cards and cash (but please note, it does not give change). Keep your ticket on your person as the ranger may check on trails.
