Benicia Historical Museum

We had a wonderful outdoor, hands-on field trip at Benicia Historical Museum. Highly recommend you check it out in person — too much to list out here.

We enjoyed learning about local history, and hands on activities learning what it would be like living in the 1850s — Adobe brick making, bucket bridgade,  artifacts, table, laundry, water hauling, corn grinding, rock painting.

I look very forward to visiting with my family - much more to learn and see in their beautifully kept barn museum.

Special thanks to Maureen for helping to organize our field trip and their informative and knowledgeable docents!
