Tadpole Hunt, Rockville

Website: Rockville Regional Park

We had an amazing time and scored the best weather today during our (catch and release) tadpole hunt.

Our little explorers enjoyed a morning hike, and were delighted by the many tadpoles to catch and view.

One of our members helped organize the meet up and brought microscopes so the kids could enjoy nature science, up close.

We are truly blessed to live in such a beautiful area -- landscapes and community.

Rockville, it was fun! Until next time!

+ Day pass fee is $3 per person (not a parking fee). Rangers do check on the trails, so be sure to purchase your day or 6 month annual pass (which pays for itself for a family of 4 in a couple of visits) at the pay machine in parking lot.

++ Bathroom is available near Mason pond (the smaller pond) on way to the bigger lake. It's about a half mile hike from parking lot.
