We brought our insect collecting nets and joined entomologists Melissa Cruz and Joel Hernandez to learn about the amazing diversity of insects from California, southern Arizona and more. A fun time was had by all.

About: The Arboretum gardens are open 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and there is no charge for admission. The Arboretum has something for everyone: 

- 100 acres of beautiful gardens to enjoy
- Documented plant collections for teaching and reserch
- Exhibits and demonstrations throughout the year, where visitors can learn about sustainable gardening.
- Guided tours and family programs led by UC Davis Experts.
- Plant sales for Central Valley gardens.
